An easily forgotten or neglected subject

What topics do you like to discuss?

There are a whole range of topics that I am only too happy to bring up for discussion. For this, I have even designed several blogs so that each aspect could be covered in detail on a platform provided for this purpose.

What is striking in this regard is that in the article to be published tomorrow on the topic of eagerly discussed topics, I still leave one of the very important points unsaid. Largely, this is also because the undiscussed topic is part of our way of life. Namely, it concerns fundamental human rights. Without human rights, a society cannot be liveable.

For years, I have tried to stand up for the weak in our society, be they people, but also plants and animals, which for a large proportion of people are simply forgotten or of no great consequence. For most people, nature is the least of their worries. As long as they have a good time now. Later is a problem for those who come after them, they think.

Precisely because the environment gets so little attention from many, it is important that we give it a voice. Also, for those people, who may live very far away from us, but are oppressed, living in poverty or facing natural disasters and famine, it is important that we think of them and make a voice for them in our capitalist and very selfish society.

Most people today are so preoccupied with themselves that they do not pay attention to what is happening around them or what is happening outside them in the world.

For most, everything has to happen the way they want it and when they want it. They also tend to run out of patience and make a nuisance of themselves when things are far too slow by their standards.

When we look around us, we find lots of people glued to their smartphones. They are wrapped up in their own little worlds, more than ever, thanks to those contemporary gadgets which seem to bring the world to the doorstep, but have brought reality far away from home.

We have to tackle this alienation from reality and it forces us to regularly publish articles where we point out how people live and interact with their environment. We need to work on creating awareness again, so that people start seeing again what is going wrong around them in the world and prompt them to do something about it.

Far too few people are aware that while the time they have now and in which they live now is their only time, they are also leaving their mark on the time that will come for those who come after them.

Even if it may not always be so obvious, or open and bare on the table, the issues I like to raise are almost all related to human, animal and plant rights.

If you feel that I pay too little attention to certain topics, I would appreciate it if you let me know. Sport already gets more than enough attention on other platforms and, for that matter, is not for me. Doing I want to, but watching it leaves my soul and body on an unsatisfactory hunger.
