In a world of trouble and conquest

Since 2014, the Russians have ensured that Ukraine has been in a struggle. In Europe, many think that this war has only been going on for two years, but Ukrainians have been dealing with it for longer. In the east of the country, there has been a lot of destruction since it started in 2014, and there are a lot of people who have to live in houses where the windows have been broken and gaping walls can be seen in several buildings.

After the 2022 raid, however, there has come a point where things seem hopeless. Eight years ago, there was already talk of Vladimir Putin‘s lust for power. Several Christians also saw the biblical warning about Gog and Magog and wished to alert others to the imminent danger of Russia advancing even further south. Ukraine would be but a first step in its conquest drive.

The impasse now means that certain countries, such as France, Germany and the United States of America, want to make concessions to allow their supplied weapons to be used against targets in Russia. Herein does lie a dangerous evolution, namely that NATO material will be used in the war against Russia in Russia, thereby crossing a line for Putin and providing the impetus to prove himself right regarding the global war the West would like to wage with his country.

We must therefore be very careful in the coming weeks when we start casting our votes for one party or another. It also comes down to Christians giving their peace message even more rumour and urging the world to put forward a serious good solution for Ukraine, Russia, Israel and Palestine.
