Immigrants and the reality of the housing crisis

During the Cold War most of western Europe was aligned with the United States through membership in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), while the Soviet Union maintained garrisons in its satellites under the terms of the Warsaw Pact.

Both in the Netherlands and Belgium, the right-wing parties have scared people of coming immigrants. They act as if those refugees or land invaders are all freeloaders hoping to live here at the community’s expense.

In France too, immigrants are head of juts. But it is not only there that the right-wing parties are vehemently opposed to ‘inward migration’.

Belgium and the Netherlands face a huge housing shortage; Housing is a very high problem there. In the Netherlands, independent young people cannot get a rental house even into their mid-thirties.

Both Labour and the Conservatives are engaged in a “conspiracy of silence” over the dire state of the public finances, said Paul Johnson, director of the IFS.

A joint effort of several authors who do find that nobody can keep standing at the side and that “Everyone" must care about what is going on in today’s world. We are a bunch of people who do not mind that somebody has a totally different idea but is willing to share the ideas with others and to be Active and willing to let others understand how "today’s decisions will influence the future”.
