It was not only festival or party-goers who were killed by Hamas entering Israel.

Parents were butchered when they used their bodies to try to protect their children. The Hamas fighters showing no pardon for the babies and killing them as well.

In response to the tragedy, General Richard Dannatt argued against an Israeli ground incursion into Gaza, claiming it will result in the death of large numbers of Palestinian civilians.

The Nir Oz Kibbutz, a community in southern Israel close to the Gaza border, got on 7 October 2023, many members murdered in their homes. Houses were burned and civilians were kidnapped and taken to Gaza.

On the 10th of October at Kfar Azza (Gaza Village), one of the last villages to be recaptured from the terrorist group, also showed a violation of every code of human morality. On Tuesday dozens of dead civilians were found over there. Many of the victims had their hands bound and some bodies had been burned beyond recognition.

One of the soldiers involved in the operation, David Ben Zion, deputy commander of Unit 17, said children had been beheaded.

“They chop the heads off women and children,”

he told local news channel i24.

Lt Col Richard Hecht, an Israel Defence Forces (IDF) spokesman, said it was too early to provide a full death toll in the kibbutz of about 400 but said

“children, toddlers and elderly were brutally butchered in an Isis way of action”.

The killing of children was repeated in another kibbutz, Kerem Shalom (Vineyard of Peace), with the IDF releasing photographs of a child’s bed covered in blood.

The discovery came as Israel stepped up air strikes against Gaza and urged civilians to leave ahead of a “very, very aggressive” retaliation against Hamas.

On Tuesday night, the IDF said shells fired from Syria had landed in its territory, while earlier in the day Hamas’s armed wing in southern Lebanon also launched a barrage of rockets across the border. Later on Tuesday night, the IDF said it had returned fire on Syria.
