Originally, Putin declared that he would definitely not invade Ukraine as the West claimed, in order to provoke a war anyway. Then Putin told his countrymen that he had to carry out a liberation operation in Ukraine because dangerous Nazis there were, so-called, making it impossible for citizens to live in peace. He then informed the Russian people that Europe and America had launched an attack against Russia by several countries colluding with Ukraine to bring Russia down.
Since 2014, Putin could count on Russia faithful Ukrainians, who wanted the eastern part of Ukraine to join the Russian Federation in order to return to a renewed Soviet Empire with Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk.
After several months of bitter fighting, several Ukrainians who were initially in favour of joining Russia, saw that those Russian allies were not coming up to give them freedom at all, but rather to oppress and exterminate them as well as to expand their territory at the expense of what it ever could cost.
Claiming more and more young Russians brought resentment to several Russians, especially since they didn’t really see the point of that battle in Ukraine. Several Russian men braided abroad, but many could not escape to take up arms against their brothers of the same race in Ukraine. During the fighting, many casualties were seen and the nonsense of a battle that did not seem to progress or lead to a good solution. As a result, some of the Russians called under arms dared to escape or desert from the Russian army and joined small independent groups that gradually became a front again against the Russian leader Putin.
For example, those Russian deserters and anti-Putin Russians thought it was important to show their country that they should act against Russian government members and police forces. They launched the attack from Ukraine last month. But their actions across the Russian border was presented by the Russian press as an offensive or another step from the West to attack Russia, and the reason why Putin should react even stronger.
With falsification of the facts, the leader of the Russian Federation tries to convince the population to defend their country by any means possible, even if it was to use nuclear weapons. Because Russia deserves every possible protection against the Western enemy, according to Putin and his faithful.
Russian officials claimed that the “Ukrainian forces” had captured at least four settlements near the frontier amid reports of heavy fighting in the area. The anti-Kremlin fighters from the so-called Russian Freedom Legion (RFL) and Russian Volunteer Corps (RDK), which both claim to be in the ranks of Kyiv’s legion of foreign fighters crossed into the Belgorod region to “create a security zone” to protect Ukrainian civilians from Russian attacks.
The nearby villages of Kozinka, Glotove and Gora-Podil were also reportedly seized by the Ukrainian-backed forces.
As the fighting erupted, the RDK confirmed its troops had crossed the border and called on residents in the Russian frontier regions to stay at home and “not to resist”, because they do not want to harm their ow people except the official officials and police force who join Putin and want to do more harm to the Russian federation than good.
Meanwhile, the RFL published a video on its Telegram channel calling on Russians to rise up and defeat Vladimir Putin.
“The time has come to put an end to the Kremlin dictatorship,”
a spokesman said.
“Be brave and have no fear because we are coming home.”
We can only hope that a fresh wind will blow now, that will convince the Russians that it is time to come out and speak out en masse against this insanely demanding war.
