Things are getting Stormy for Trump

People around the US are waiting with bated breath for the arrest of Donald Trump. Rumours ramped up this past weekend that a grand jury in Manhattan was coming close to indicting the former president for his involvement in hush money paid to former adult film star Stormy Daniels in 2016. Over the last year, the Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has been investigating Trump, and this past month it seemed the grand jury was getting close to a decision. But it wasn’t until Trump wrote on Truth Social he was expecting to be arrested on Tuesday that things began exploding. Taking to his platform, Trump called on his followers to “protest” the possible indictment. While things started feeling very January 6th-esq, luckily only five people showed up. On the flip side, some anti-Trump protesters did show up, pretending to be MAGA fans just to troll the former president and his followers. But Tuesday came and went and so far Trump has not been arrested but some clever AI photos did give us a clue as to what that might look like.
